Payton’s birthday came so fast that we had to pull something together fast. (Really we almost forgot!) We invited family over for cake and ice cream and just played in the back yard with some blowup baseballs.
As we opened gifts I forgot how it’s all about the paper this year, and not the toys. Although he made away with more than needed of course.
He obviously enjoyed the cake and didn’t take anytime diving into it.
If you couldn’t tell it was a Chicago Bear cake. (Notice the nice C on the tummy and the life like face! He was going to just tear it apart anyway.)
After everyone left we took the balloons down. Payton got a hold of one and would not give it up for anything…
not even to take a bath!
THANKS!
To everyone who came with such short notice!

This past week has been a complete DISASTER! Where to begin…Courtney overnight has turned into one of those gremlins that wreck and ruin everything. (This was the one that looked cute though.)
It started out with her getting accidently falling out side and scraping up her nose. Poor thing!
THEN…she got a hold of scissors and cut her hair! Now she looks like she has a mullet. I was devastated to say the least.
THEN…a couple days later she got a hold of a JUMBO sharpe pen that I was using to write on boxes for the move, and she colored all over my desk and on her lips as lipstick. Thank goodness for magic erasers!
THEN…a couple days after that she got a hold of my mascara and rubbed it all over her lips again!
When I was taking a picture she wouldn’t look at me because she knew she was in major trouble. But then when I said, ” Oh how beautiful can I see!” this is what she did!
I think I’m going to have major issues with this one.
THEN… later that day Megan started yelling, ” the TV isn’t working.” I go in there and realized it was on the wrong input. I grabbed the clicker and tried to change it and no luck….I walked up to the TV to change it by hand, and that’s when I realized the TV was soaking wet! Megan told me Courtney did it. And without a question, because of this week, I assumed it was Courtney…the poor little girl got spanked and sent to time out. Megan was sobbing in her room, I though it was because the TV was broken and she couldn’t watch her cartoon… later I found out that it was because she was the one who broke the TV not Courtney! I basically sent the kids outside and said don’t come in until Dad comes home. I had to go to work and before I left I forgot to tell Josh it was Megan not Courtney who ruined the TV. So of course Courtney was on Josh’s bad list all night while I was at work. Oops!
Hopefully this week won’t be like the last one!

FYI:
In case you hadn’t heard the news, we sold our house! (Yeah! considering the horrible market talks.) We will be moving in July. We found a wonderful house for our family and can’t wait for the square footage we so desperately are in need of. However excited we are for the new house, there will definitely be claw marks as they take (or drag) me out of the house. I’m sure in time I will love the new house just as much as the old one.

Today is the last day of school! I can’t believe how fast this school year went. And to go along with all of these pictures of course the High School Musical song WHAT TIME IS IT?. Enjoy your summer!

Sorry the pictures bad, my camera was funky that day, but this was Megan’s last day of Preschool with Mrs. Wing. She is the best Preschool Teacher ever! My kids have done so well with her and Megan is now ready for kindergarten next year. Hooray!

This is a picture of Adam’s Kindergarten class with Mrs. Ashcroft. She was so wonderful! Adam loved her laugh too. I don’t know why but Adam is the only one looking at the camera and smiling. But then again he’s always smiling. He can’t wait for 1st grade because he gets 3 recesses and takes a lunch to school.

Courtney’s hair is just getting long enough to start pulling up in to some fun hair do’s. It’s one of the fun things to do when you have girls.
Don’t forget the shoes to go with the hair do’s…

Courtney always makes us laugh!

Yesterday Amanda (my sister) and her family got to take their 6month old son to court and get all the adoption finalized. It was great to see them so happy to have baby Boston in their family. We are so lucky to have this sweet boy as a nephew and cousin. We can’t wait to go to the temple with them on Friday. Congratulations Andy, Amanda, Abby, & Boston! What a cute family!

Adam had to go back to the dentist to get his cavity filled this morning. He was very brave when we got there, and did great for the shot. But, once his face went numb he lost it. He started crying and wouldn’t open his mouth for the dentist. It took me about 10 minutes of talking to him to try and just have him open his mouth. He finally opened his mouth, but when the drilling started they had to use a clamp to keep his mouth open because he was bitting the dentist. It was so hard to see him there crying and trying to get out of the chair. Hopefully he won’t get another cavity anytime soon! When we got home it would make me laugh because his whole left side of his face was numb when he would talk. Just take a look at his smile.
